FairfieldBonnie Evelyn BAKER, 70, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Jefferson County Health Center.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2022, at Behner Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to Paws Animal Shelter, Ft. Madison, Iowa. Cards and memorials can be sent to Jeramie BURTON, 703 East Adams, Fairfield, IA 52556
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Bonnie was born November 3, 1951, in Fairfield to Albert and Keo (WILBURN) BAKER. She married Melvin BURTON and later divorced.
Bonnie enjoyed cooking, making that her life time career. One of her places of employment was at Mt. Hamill Tap working in the kitchen. Bonnie also liked reading and doing crossword puzzles. Most important was spending time with her cats, family & friends.
Bonnie will be missed by her two children, Jeramie (Lacey PRICE-BURTON) BURTON and Meghan BURTON; 6 grandchildren, McKenzie BURTON, Allie KUKUZKE, Emma PRICE-BURTON, Landon PRICE-BURTON, Isabella WAGNER and Addison WAGNER; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Christine FAYARD of Texas and Barbara RAYMOND of California.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Keo; grandparents; and two sisters, Susan WAY and Katherine SHOEMAKER.
