Morrison GARST Taken In Death

Morrison C. GARST, 75, died Friday afternoon at the Jefferson County Hospital after an illness of two weeks.

GARST moved to Fairfield from Toledo, Ohio, in December, making his home at 602 S. Main St. He was married to the former Bertha LAMSON of Fairfield, who preceded him in death in January, 1966.

GARST is survived by one son, James GARST, New York City; and one sister, Mrs. Keith MERRILL, Des Moines. He was a brother-in-law of James LAMSON and Mrs. Til JOHNSON, both of Fairfield.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery.

GARST Rites

Inurnment services for Morrison C. GARST, 75, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery. Dr. Curtis R. Douglass will officiate.

GARST died Jan. 27 at the Jefferson County Hospital after a brief illness. A former resident of Toledo, Ohio, he moved to Fairfield in December.
