Hold Last Rites For Infant Son

Rites were held recently for John L. GARLAND, four-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur GARLAND, Rock Island, Ill., and a grandson of Mrs. Cindy LOVELL, 407 E. Hempstead.

The baby died Wednesday at the GARLAND home in Rock Island. He had been under a doctor's care for flu for the past 10 days.

Graveside services for the child were held in Evergreen cemetery at Fairfield March 29.

The child's mother is the former Alberta M. LOVELL, former resident of Fairfield and a former student at the Fairfield high school.

In addition to his parents, the baby is survived by three brothers, Earl D., Rock Island; Gary N. and Ray D., both at home; and two sisters, Cindy May and Carol Lynn, both at home.
