Frank GARCIA Dies Thursday

Frank GARCIA, about 35 years of age, passed away at the Sunnyslope Sanitarium in Ottumwa on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. (note: in Wapello Co., IA). He had been ill for about four years.

Mr. GARCIA was born in Mexico in 1903 (sic). He never married. He is survived by three brothers, Roy and Pete of Fairfield, and Joe of Chicago.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.

Note: Buried October 1, 1938, in the Public Grounds section at Evergreen, in Row 8, Space 18, with no gravestone. Frank was born December 22, 1900, the son of Refugio and Maria GARCIA, according to his death certificate. He had been at the sanatorium for two weeks, and died of advanced pulmonary tuberculosis.
