By Mrs. Edna CrileFuneral services for Jonas (sic - James) H. GINKENS, aged 78, who passed away Monday at 2 p.m. at the home of his brother and sister, Fred and Lucy GINKENS in Brighton, was held Wednesday at he Gould funeral home in Richland; burial at McDowell cemetery. He was born in Jefferson county and was married to Britta McCRACKEN, Sept. 4, 1888. They resided in Oskaloosa for twelve years but later moved to the Richland community. His wife passed away last December and since then he had made his home in Brighton. He had been in poor health for some time. One son, Jesse also preceded him in death. ...
