Mrs. C. P. Sipes died at Oskaloosa the 1st inst. Her maiden name was Nancy Jane Bradshaw and she was born 3 miles southeast of this city July 7 1839. She was married at Batavia Feb 17 1857 and was the mother of 15 children. The husband and six sons survive her. The family lived near Batavia until 1883.
