Dorothy Kathryne FULTON

Dorothy Kathryne FULTON, 84, of711 W. Tyler Ave., died at 10:53 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Jefferson County Hospital.

Mrs. FULTON was born March 9, 1914, at Glasgow, the daughter of John William and Emily Claire LITTON WATSON. She married Harold FULTON April 4, 1936, in Edina, Mo. He died April 19, 1989.

Mrs. FULTON lived her entire life in Jefferson County. She was a school teacher in the Jefferson County Rural School System for four years. She was a nurses aide and ward clerk for more than 20 years at Jefferson County Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Deborah Circle and Bradshaw Helping Hand Club.

Survivors include six sons, Eugene and Larry FULTON, both of Fairfield, Roxie FULTON of Birmingham, Roger FULTON of New London, Dennis FULTON of Stockport and Randy FULTON of Decorah; two daughters, Rose Ann FERREL of Fairfield and Joy Lynn MENZE of Hannibal, Mo.; 27 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Raymond, James, Don and Richard WATSON; one sister, Shirley; and one great-granddaughter.
