Page THREE, Column 4Former Prominent Local Woman Dies In Everett, Wash.
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Charles D. FULLEN who passed away at her home in Everett, Wash. Saturday August 8 at 9:30 p.m. Funeral services were held Monday in Everett. She is survived by two sons, Julian and Donald, living in the west.
Mr. FULLEN, a native of Agency Iowa, former prominent lawyer in Fairfield passed away 18 years ago in Everett. He was a member of the Jones and Fullen law firm in the late 80's with offices where the Lundquist insurance is now located. He was also connected with the R. J. Wilson law business here. After the family moved to Ottumwa Mr. FULLEN was made U. S. district attorney for southern Iowa.
Mrs. FULLEN the former Anna JULIAN who resided with her family at the corner of Fourth and Burlington streets where the Conoco station is now located, was also influential in social and civic circles at that time. She was an artist, a member of the Congregational church and of Chapter C. P. E. O. She has been blind for more than 15 years. Her sisters-in-law are the late Mrs. C. C. AYERS and Mrs. A. L. REYNOLDS of Ottumwa. The FULLEN boys attended the local grade schools.
