Mrs. FRY Dies At Nursing Home

Mrs. Avangelia FRY, 1006 W. Burlington, died at 11 a.m. today at the Nelson Nursing home where she had been a patient for only a short time.

Her daughter, Elizabeth, now teaching at LaGrange, Ill., is expected to return home later today after being notified of her mother's death.

The body is at the Raymond funeral home where last rites are pending.

Services Today For Mrs. FRY

Last rites were held this morning for Mrs. Henry W. FRY, longtime resident of Fairfield who passed away about 11 a.m. Saturday at the Nelson Nursing home.

The services were held at the Raymond funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Eagle in charge. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. FRY's death was sudden and unexpected. She had been a patient at the nursing home only a short time prior to her death.

Avangelia B. FRY, 94, was born April 17, 1865, at Iowa City, the daughter of the late Maurice and Rachel ELLIS BRESLAUER. She was reared and educated in Sterling Ill., and united in marriage to Henry W. FRY on July 21, 1892. The wedding took place at Sterling. Her husband preceded her in death in 1935.

Mrs. FRY had made her home in this community for the past 58 years. The family home is located at 1006 W. Burlington street. She was a member of the Christian church and a 50-year member of the OES.

She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth FRY, LaGrange, Ill.; one son, John FRY, Chicago; two grandchidlren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter who died in infancy.
