Joseph FRITTS, Lockridge, Dies

LOCKRIDGE -- Joseph C. FRITTS, 75, Lockridge businessman, died Sunday at 7:15 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where he had been a patient for five days. He had been in failing health for three years.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Henry Palm officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night.

FRITTS was born Nov. 26, 1892 in Wyoming, Ill., the son of Jay and Portia PETERS FRITTS. He was married to Lena BERG April 6, 1947.

FRITTS had been a resident of Lockridge for 30 years, operating a service station and later a commercial lime business.

Surviving are his widow; two step-sons, Paul BERG, Davenport, and Robert BERG, Fairfield; two grandchildren and one brother, E. W. FRITTS, Fairfield. One brother preceded him in death.

In The Matter Of The Estate Of J. C. FRITTS, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Above Entitled Estate:

You are hereby notified that the undersigned has been appointed administrator of the above entitled estate; that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance, and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
