Chester D. FRAKES, 55, Fairfield businessman, died Sunday at 3 p.m. at his home at Walton Lake. He had been in failing health for a year and seriously ill for the past week.
Last rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home in charge of Dr. J. Henry Teele. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
FRAKES was owner of the Fairfield News Agency. He had operated the business since 1943. A lifelong resident of Jefferson county, he was born Sept. 14, 1903 near Perlee, the son of Samuel T. and Margaret SHEKELTON FRAKES.
He was married to Virginia BEVERING Oct. 29, 1927 at Burlington. Surviving are his wife and one sister, Mrs. Margaret BABCOCK., Nashville, Tenn.
