SAMUEL FOWLER CALLED TODAY
Well Known Former Jefferson County Farmer Dies In Muscatine

Samuel FOWLER, a well known former Jefferson county farmer, passed away this morning at the home of his nephew Roscoe FOWLER, in Muscatine (note: in Muscatine Co., IA). The body was brought to the Hoskins Funeral Home her (sic) pending funeral arrangements.

Mr. FOWLER formerly made his home on a farm northwest of the ci y (sic) until a few years ago when he went to Muscatine to make his home with his nephew.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot 2nd.071. He was a son of George E. and Annie B. ZEIGLER FOWLER. Wife Catherine H. SCOTT FOWLER remarried to William B. WHITAKER, died in 1918, and was buried with William also in Evergreen Cemetery.
