Page 2, Column 2MRS CATHERINE WHITAKER DIED AT 3 A. M.
Mrs. Catherine H. WHITAKER passed away this morning at three o'clock after a few days illness with pneumonia. For several years her health has been failing, but her last illness was of short duration.
She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters by her first marriage to S. S. FOWLER: Mrs. J. C. HAMPSON of Denver, Colo; Miss Kate FOWLER of Omaha, Neb., and Miss Gertrude FOWLER of this city. Many frends (sic) will extend their sympathy to them at this time.
The funeral arrangements will not be completed until the arrival of Mrs. HAMPSON.

Page 3, Column 4WHITTAKER (sic) FUNERAL HELD THIS MORNING
The funeral services for Mrs. Catherine H. WHITAKER, who died Wednes (sic) morning were held this morning at ten o'clock from the late residence on West Burlington street, in charge of Rev. H. A. Mosser of the Presbyterian church. The remains were interred in Evergreen cemetery.
