Mrs. FOSHIER Dies At 89

Mrs. Nora FOSHIER, 89, died at 6 a.m. today at the Henry County hospital in Mt. Pleasant (note: in Henry Co., IA). She had been in failing health for several years.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral home. Services are pending.

Mrs. FOSHIER had been a patient in a Mt. Pleasant nursing home for the past nine months. She entered the hospital Thursday.

For the past 12 years Mrs. FOSHIER had made her home with her son, Bill FOSHIER, 508 Bel Aire drive.

She was born Oct. 1, 1875 at Pleasantville, Iowa, the daughter of Fridolin and Sarah SPALTI. She was married to William FOSHIER in 1902. He preceded her in death in 1935 (sic - 1936).

Mrs. FOSHIER was a resident of Omaha, Neb., for many years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, Order of Eastern Star and White Shrine.

She is survived by one son, Bill, and eight grandchildren. Two daughters are deceased.

Mrs. FOSHIER Rites Monday

Last rites for Mrs. Nora FOSHIER, 89, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home.

Mrs. FOSHIER died Friday morning at the Henry County hospital in Mt. Pleasant. A resident of Fairfield for the past 12 years, she made her home with her son, Bill FOSHIER, 508 Bel Aire Drive.

Services will be conducted by Edward M. Esler. Burial will be Evergreen cemetery.
