A Jefferson county farmer died suddenly of a heart attack abut 8:30 p.m. last night at his home near Salina.

He is Oscar FORD, 65, who had been in his usual health until he was stricken. A doctor was summoned but FORD was dead upon his arrival. The coroner was then called but said there would be no inquest.
