MRS. SNOWDEN FISHER DIED LAST EVENING

Mrs. Snowden FISHER residing six miles southeast of the city, passed away last night about 11:30 o'clock. She had been ill only a few days with influenza and was thought to be getting along as well as could be expected, when she suddenly grew worse last evening.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William GARDNER and was born near Ioka, Iowa, March 14th, 1882. She is survived by her husband and two daughters Mary and Frances.

Short funeral services will be held at the grave in Evergreen cemetery at one o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

FISHER.

Following an illness of a few days with influenza Mrs. Snowden FISHER died Tuesday night at her home six miles southeast of Fairfield.

Mrs. FISHER was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William GARDNER and was born near Ioka March 14, 1882, and was 37 years of age.

She leaves in the home her bereaved husband and two daughters, Mary and Frances.

Short funeral services were held at the grave Thursday afternoon and the body was laid to rest in the Evergreen cemetery.

LIFE OF MRS. S. O. FISHER

Mrs. S. O. FISHER passed away at her home about seven miles southeast of Fairfield, Tuesday, Jan. 21st. She had been ill but a short time and was not thought serious until a few hours before her death. She was one of the influenza victims.

Martha Watson GARDNER, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William GARDER (sic), was born near Ioka, Iowa, March 14, 1882. Her girlhood days were spent in that neighborhood. She was united in marriage to Snowden FISHER in June, 1899, and to this union were born two children, Mary and Francis, who with their father are left to mourn her death. There are also left to mourn her death her aged father, two brothers, William and Frank GARDNER, both of near Packwood, and Mrs. Phoebie VAN VALKENBURG of Superior, Wyoming, her mother having preceeded (sic) her in death.

Mrs. FISHER was a kind and loving wife and mother and she had a host of friends who will mourn her death. Funeral services were held at Evergreen cemetery, Thursday, Jan. 23, at 1:00 p.m.
