Mrs. FISHER Rites Friday

Last rites for Mrs. W.E. FISHER, 91, former local resident, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

The Rev. Basil Tadlock will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. FISHER died Monday at a nursing home in Forest City. Arrangements are in charge of the Olson-Petersen Funeral Home in Forest City. They body will lie in state at the church beginning at noon Friday.

Mrs. FISHER, the former Sophia WEARRY (sic - WERRY), was the widow of Wilson E. FISHER. They spent their married life in Fairfield until his death in 1943.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs Reinhardt (Jane) ANDERSEN, Clear Lake; Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) WHITNEY and Mrs. Cal (Edna) BENNINGHOUSE, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; and George FOSHER (sic), Orange, Calif.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Emma WILLIAMS and Mrs. Ethel SANDERS, both of Canton, Ill.
