Mrs. William H. FAULKNER, 85 died at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fairfield Convalescent Home where she had been seriously ill for the past three weeks.
Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Dilley in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Margaret FAULKNER was born Dec. 16, 1883, at West Liberty, the daughter of Michael P. and Ida Catherine DOTSON FRANZ. She was reared and educated in Fairfield.
She was married to William H. FAULKNER on Oct. 3, 1900, in Fairfield. He died in 1944(.)
Mrs. FAULKNER was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Rebekah Lodge No. 96(.)
Survivors include four sons and two daughters; Frederick John and Bert, all of Keosauqua; Henry of Campbell, Calif.; Mrs. Marguerite RANARD, Des Moines; and Mrs. Jane BRIGGS of Fairfield.
Other survivors include 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Eva SALTS, Fairfield, and Mrs. Gerhard NABBIFELD, Ottumwa; and two step children.
She was preceded in death by three sons, one daughter, two sisters, one brother and two step children.
