... The remains of James FARLEY, a resident of this city in 1868, were brought here last Thursday for burial. His death occurred at Eddyville (note: in Wapello Co., IA), where deceased had resided for several years. The Masons had charge of the funeral. ...

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot Old.P.081. He was born in 1820 according to his gravestone, however no specific date is noted. According to Wapello County Deaths, he died after suffering from La Grippe for nine days. Wife Lucinda died in 1894 in Eddyville, and was buried with him.
