Mary Agnes ESKEW, 85, of Fairfield died at Parkview Care Center (note: on October 3rd).
The service will be held Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Cecil and the Rev. Donald L. Hickman officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to Foursquare Gospel Church.
Mrs. ESKEW was born May 2, 1905 in Henry County, the daughter of Cliff and Eva SCARFF MILLER. She married Harry KELTNER on March 19, 1924. He died in 1951. In 1960 she married Ethridge ESKEW, who died in 1963. A lifetime resident of Fairfield, she was a nurse at the Mental Health Institution in Mt. Pleasant and had owned and operated the Briggs-Eskew Nursing Home. She was a member of Fousquare Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Frances TURNER, Alvena BRIGGS and Betty GOODWIN, all of Fairfield; nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Wanda GREENLAND and Elma RUBY preceded her in death.
