FairfieldGyan KESLER, 39, of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at his home in Fairfield. As were his wishes, his body had been cremated. Friends may leave online condolences at www.cranstonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
Gyan KESLER was born Oct. 25, 1981, in Israel to Dan and Hannah GORODESKY KESLER. At the age of seven, he moved with his family to the United States He attended Maharishi School in Fairfield and furthered his education at Maharishi International University, earning three master's degrees. He loved to further the knowledge and understanding of others and did so through teaching He spent several years teaching preschool to children in Vietnam as well as being a teacher of Transcendental Meditation. Gyan was beloved by his community and will be deeply missed.
Gyan was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Hannah KESLER.
Left to share his story are his two sisters, Ananda KESLER and Vidya SCHECHTMAN, as well as many extended family and friends.
