Reva J. ELDER Rites Monday

Reva J. ELDER, retired school teacher, died at 5:45 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since January 8. She had been in failing health for the past year.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lutheran church with the Rev. Hoyt L. Whitebread officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The casket will be taken from Raymond's Funeral Home to the church at noon on the day of the services.

Reva ELDER was a veteran school teacher with 47 years experience. She taught in rural schools for three years before joining the Fairfield teaching staff. She had lived in this community all of her life.

Reva J. EDLER, 75, was born Sept. 30, 1890, in Fairfield, the daughter of C. C. and Francess (sic) HACKETT ELDER. She attended the Fairfield schools and graduated from Parsons college.

She was a member of the Lutheran church and her home was at 205 South C.

Miss ELDER is survived by one sister, Bessie ELDER, Fairfield, also one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in daeath by one brother and one sister.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Reva ELDER, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate of Reva ELDER Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 11th day of March, 1966 the last will and testament of Reva ELDLER deceased bearing date of the 1st day of November, 1961, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Bessie ELDER was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
