OBITUARY

LOUISE ELIZABETH EDLER

It is with a sad heart that we are called upon to pen the obituary of such a little girl as that of Louise Elizabeth EDLER, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles EDLER who lives in the west end addition.

Louise's illness was of six week's duration, typhoid fever being the cause of her death. All that medical aid and loving hands could do was all to no avail, and God designed that she should be glorified and Sept. 11, just at six oclock as the sun was setting, she closed her eyes so peacefully and calmly and fell asleep to be with her beloved Savior who had said "Of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Louise was born near Fairfield, April 20, 1921, being nine years, four months, three weeks and one day old, and being the oldest of the family her little sisters and brothers all looked to her for help and she was a loving "little mother" to them.

Short indeed was the time in which she was permitted to remain upon earth to gladden the hearts of her parents but they have the consolation of knowing that the Good Shepherd hath taken their little lamb into his own keeping and will keep her safe from snares and pitfalls that might have befallen her here.

We plead with the parents to be hopeful and it only reminds us that little Louise has stepped over the border land and we should be prepared to meet her in her heavenly home.

Heavy as the grief falls upon the sorrowing parents it still leaves them two little daughters Esther and Eva and a son Lester.

Funeral services were held at Hoskins funeral home Saturday afternoon at two oclock and were conducted by Rev. J. I. Dool.

Viola Harper, Bessie Harper, Esther Delp and Mary Kurka Smith tenderly laid her to rest in the beautiful Evergreen cemetery amid a bed of flowers.

A FRIEND.
