MRS. JOHN ECKARD DIED THIS MORNING

Mrs. John ECKARD died this morning at three o'clock at the County Home.

Mary Anna HETZEL was born in Montgomery county, Ohio, April 14, 1822, and when eighteen years of age moved with her parents to Henry county, Iowa. At the age of twenty-five years she was married in Washington county, Ia., to John ECKARD who died one year later. To this union was born one son William, who died in his seventeenth year.

Mrs. ECKARD had lived at Garmanville (sic - Germanville) a number of years prior to her coming to the County Home in 1902.

tomorrow morning at ten o'clock from hte (sic) Frazey Undertaking Parlors and interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.

MRS. JOHN ECKARD DIED AT COUNTY HOME

Mrs. John ECKARD passed away at the County home early Monday morning.

Mrs. ECKARD, who was formerly Miss Mary Anna HETZEL was born in Montgomery county, O., April 14, 1822. She with her parents, removed to Washington county eighteen years later. At the age of twenty-five years she was united in marriage with Mr. ECKARD. One son, Wiliam, was born to them but died at the age of seventeen. Mr. ECKARD died the year following their marriage.

Mrs. ECKARD has made her home at the county farm for the last thirteen years and prior to that time she had resided at Germanville.

Funeral services were held at the Frazey Undertaking Parlors Tuesday morning and interment was made in the Evergreen cemetery.
