Mrs. EASTON, 75, Taken In Death

Mrs. Percy J. EASTON, 75, resident of the Fairfield Convalescent Home since May, 1968, died about 7:30 a.m. Sunday at the home. She had been in failing health for several years.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. John Dilley in charge. The body is at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. EASTON was the widow of the late P. J. EASTON who operated a drug store in Fairfield for a number of years. The family moved to California in 1939 and moved back to Burlington in 1964. He preceded his wife in death Oct. 3, 1966.

Lucille EASTON was born Feb. 4, 1894, in Fairfield, the daughter of Claire and Nettie KIRBY WISECARVER. She was reared and educated in Fairfield and attended Oberlin College.

She was married to Percy James EASTON in Des Moines in 1918. Mrs. EASTON was a member of the Presbyterian Church, she was organist at the Presbyterian and Christian Science Churches for a number of years, and she was a member of the D.A.R. and was a Colonial Dame".

Survivors include a cousin, two nieces, one nephew; a brother-in-law, Oscar EASTON; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma EASTON, both of Fairfield.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Lucille EASTON, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Lucille EASTON, Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 4th day of December, 1969, the last will and testament of Lucille EASTON, deceased, bearing date of the 25th day of June, 1968, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Ruth E. Parsons was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
