Thomas C. DWYER, 58, lifetime resident of Fairfield, died Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Jefferson County hospital. He had been seriously ill since last November.
Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church in charge of the Rev. Fr. Francis Henricksen. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o'clock at the Raymond Funeral home.
DWYER, 305 W. Grimes, had been employed at the Fairfield Elks lodge for the past 25 years. He was also a former cafe operator.
DWYER was born April 18, 1905 in Fairfield, the son of Thomas M. and Hannah MILLANE DWYER. He was married May 4, 1931 to Frances GRETTER. He was a member of St. Mary church, the Holy Name society and the Elks and Eagles lodges (sic - Eagles Aerie/Club).
Surviving are his wife and mother, Mrs. Thomas DWYER, Fairfield. Also surviving are the following sisters: Mary M. DYWER, Mrs. Harley KELLEY and Mrs. Clayton HORTON, all of Fairfield; Mrs. Raymond ADRIAN, Sigourney; and Mrs. Lewis WARD, Iowa City.

--Mrs. Ed LORACH left Tuesday morning for her home in Mendota, Ill., after being in Fairfield the past week with her sister, Mrs. Thomas DWYER, 305 W. Grimes. Other friends and relatives here to attend last rites for Mr. DWYER Saturday morning included those from Iowa City, Washington, Keota, Harper and Sigourney.
