Death of Thomas DWYER.

Thomas DWYER, a well known Irish citizen of Fairfield, died at his home Sunday morning after a long and painful illness. Mr. DWYER had lived in this city for about fifteen years, and during all that time had been in the employ of the C., B. & Q. company. While acting as section foreman at Krum several years ago he was severly poisoned and his ill health dates from that time. Recently he had been acting as gatekeeper at the crossing. Mr. DWYER was fifty-eight years of age, and his wife and five grown children, all of whom reside in this vicinity, survive him. He was a man who was very generally respected. The funeral occurred from St. Mary's church Monday afternoon, Father Nodler conducting the services.
