... The remains of Mrs. Thomas DWYER, who died at Kalona, Ill., last week, were brought to this city Monday for burial. The family formerly resided in this city. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. M. Nodler.

Mrs. Thomas DWYER, whose funeral took place from St. Mary's Catholic church in this city Monday morning at ten o'clock, was at one time a resident of this city. It is now about twenty-one years since she left Fairfield and during the ten years of their residence here her husband was employed on the Rock Island railroad.
Mrs. DWYER's death occurred on last Friday evening at her home in Colona, Iowa and was caused by cancer of the stomach. She was fifty-four years, three months and twenty-two days sold (sic). She leaves a husband and two grown sons.
