JOHN J. DUGGAN DIED SATURDAY AT HOSPITAL
Moved to Fairfield 15 years ago from Keokuk; born in Canada

John James DUGGAN, resident of Fairfield for the past 15 years, died at the Jefferson county hospital Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. He had been in poor health for the past three years and seriously ill for the past three weeks.

Last rites will be held at the St. Mary's Catholic church at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning in charge of the Rev. Father H. M. Thoman. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body is at the Hoskins funeral home.

Mr. DUGGAN was born July 10, 1880 (sic - 1879), in London, Ontario, Canada. He and his family moved to Fairfield about 15 years ago from Keokuk, Iowa. He was formerly with the Metropolitan Life Insurance company and for the past three years had been employed as county timekeeper for the W.P.A.

He leaves his wife and the following children: Mrs. Don PHILLIPS, Fairfield; John DUGGAN, Wahoo, Neb.; Charles, who is with the A. E. F. in northern Ireland; Mrs. Bennie WINFREY, Fairfield, and William, at home, 502 West Burlington street.

Two sisters, Mrs. Hiller MARTIN and Mrs. Charles CONROY, both of London, Ontario, Canada and two grandchildren also survive.
