W. DuBOIS dies at 90

William M. DuBOIS, 90, lifetime resident of the Fairfield Community, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Hospital where he had been a patient since Oct. 20.

Service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Riggs will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

William M. DuBOIS was born Dec. 18, 1887, at Fairfield, the son of Nathaniel and Cornelia MARCY DuBOIS. A retired farmer he lived his entire life in the Fairfield Community and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church.

His marriage to Bessie BRAWNER took place Feb. 2, 1909. She preceded him in death in June, 1939.

He married Jessie TURNER, April 5, 1941, who survives.

In addition to his widow he is survived by one son, Brawner DuBOIS, Brighton; two daughters, Kathryn DuBOIS, San Fernando, Calif., and Esther COLESON, Camarello, Calif.; a step-daughter, Dorothy ELMORE, Somers, N.Y.

Also four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.

DuBOIS was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF W.M. DUBOIS, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 13TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1978, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF W.M. DUBOIS, DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 19TH DAY OF MARCH, 1973, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT JESSIE E. DUBOIS AND BRAWNER DUBOIS WERE APPOINTED EXECUTORS OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
