Page SIX, Column 7MRS. DOUGHTY PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Prudence A. DOUGHTY, 85, passed away at 9:30 this morning at the home of Mrs. E. M. West, 306 East Madison, following a serious illness of three weeks. She had resided with Mrs. West for the past nine years, and had been confined to her room for almost four years.
She was born September 12, 1860. Her first marriage was to John WRIGHT, and two children were born to this union: Mae, who passed away at the age of two years, and another child who died in infancy.
She married Rev. A. S. DOUGHTY March 6, 1907, and was always active in the Free Methodist church.
She is survived by one half sister, Mary E. CROSON of Libby, Mont., and two step brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
The body has been taken to the Hoskins Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are still pending.

Funeral services for Mrs. Prudence DOUGHTY, who passed away yesterday morning at the home of Mrs. E. M. West, 306 East Madison street, will be held tomorrow, Sept. 29, at Hoskins Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Rev. E. W. Walls and Rev. J. G. Dingman will be in charge.
Interment in Evergreen cemetery.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament and Codicil of Prudence A. DOUGHTY, Deceased is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson County, and that Friday, October 26th A. D. 1945 at 9:30 a. m. has been set for proof and final hearing of same.
Witness my hand and seal of said Court, this 1st day of Oct., 1945.
