Mrs. DILL Is Dead.

Agnes LOUDEN, wife of the late John DILL, died at her home in this city Friday. She had been an invalid for many years, and for fifteen years past had been unable to walk. Mrs. DILL was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew LOUDEN, pioneer settlers of Jefferson county. She was born in Cedar township, this county, September 26th, 1844. She was married in this county December 19th, 1865, to John DILL, who died in this city March 15th, 1906. They were the parents of five children, three of whom survive them--John A. DILL of Van Buren county, Bert A. and Miss Cora DILL of this city. Mrs. DILL had been a member of the Presbyterian church since girlhood and her life was consistent with its teachings. In this county, where nearly her entire life was spent, she had many friends who admired her for her womanly graces and for the graciousness she manifested in a life so filled with pain and suffering. The body was interred in the Evergreen cemetery Sunday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. W. F. Jones.
