The death of Mrs. William DAVIDSON, mother of J. H. DAVIDSON, of Fairfield township, with whom she and her husband made their home, occurred last Friday monring about one o'clock. She was taken sick while milking and with much difficulty was assisted into the house by her husband. In spite of all that could be done for she died a little after midnight. The doctor pronounced her trouble pleurisy. She had been entirely well before, and her death was therefore very unexpected, and a great shock to the relatives. She left two sons, J. H. and S. F. S. F. arrived from Ohio the night she was taken sick and thus saw her before she died. J. H. was absent at the time on a visit to his old home in Ohio. He arrived Saturday morning and was told at the depot of his mother's death. Mrs. DAVIDSON came here from Harrison county, Ohio, two years ago last April. She has many friends here and was very highly esteemed. The funeral was held at the house Sunday, Rev. S. B. Ross officiating, and the remains were buried in the new cemetery.
