Mrs. Amelia DAVIDSON, 76, Fairfield Route 2, died Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. at the Jefferson County hospital. She had been seriously ill for two days following a heart attack.
Mrs. DAVIDSON was a lifetime resident of Jefferson county. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Robert Swanson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. DAVIDSON was born May 4, 1886 at Lockridge, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. LEAFGREEN. She was married to Samuel M. DAVIDSON, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two children, Mrs. Dale COX, Fairfield and Kenneth DAVIDSON, Davenport. Also surviving are one grandchild, three great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Paul LEAFGREEN, Fort Madison; Carl LEAFGREEN, Fairfield; Arthur LEAFGREEN, Los Angeles; Mrs. Clara WYMER, Fairfield; Mrs. Hidvie SPEES, Granger, Mo.; and Mrs. Anna KUNCE, Upton, Wyo.
Two sisters and one brother are deceased.
