F. R. DANIELSON, Streator Firm President, Dies

Frank R. DANIELSON, 76, president of Streator Manufacturing Co., and veteran Fairfield automobile dealer, died at 5 a.m. today at the Jefferson County hospital.

DANIELSON entered the hospital Dec. 21, but his death was unexpected. A lifetime resident of Fairfield, he resided at 201 E. Burlington.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist church in charge of the Rev. James Dendler. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

DANIELSON was born Nov. 24, 1888 in Jefferson county, the son of P. A. and Amelia RIVEY DANIELSON. He was reared and educated in Fairfield. He was married to Martha BAUER Nov. 1 1922.

DANIELSON entered the automotive business in 1919 as a Ford tractor salesman. In 1923 he joined the late Herbert Atherton in the operation of the local Chevrolet agency. DANIELSON purchased the business in 1927, founding the Danielson Motor Co. He was named Nash dealer in 1927 and in 1928 he began a long association as Chrysler and Plymouth dealer.

Since 1952 DANIELSON ahd served as president and manager of the Streator Manufacturing Co. He was a member of the Methodist church, Lions club, Elks lodge, Chamber of Commerce and Fairfield Manufacturing Assn.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Chester and Charles DANIELSON, both of Fairfield; Mrs. Jack SCHONER, Kings of Prussia, Pa.; and Mrs. Carl N. JOHNSON Jr., Denison. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and one brother, Irwin DANIELSON, and one sister, Mrs. Oscar ROBERTS, both of Fairfield. One brother is deceased.
