DEATH TAKES MRS. DAHL, 75

Mrs. Mary M. DAHL, 75, died yesterday afternoon at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been in failing health for a year and a patient at the hospital since Sunday.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of Dr. L. L. Weis. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Members of the family request no flowers be sent.

Mrs. DAHL was born June 1, 1876 at Alexia, Ill, the daughter of Moses and Alice HAWKINS PATTERSON. She was married to Charles F. DAHL in Fairfield Sept. 1, 1894. A well-known farm couple, Mr. and Mrs. DAHL lived northeast of Fairfield for 49 years prior to his death Sept. 23, 1942.

Mrs. DAHL was a member of the Fairfield Methodist church. She made her home at 410 North C street.

She is survived by two children, Mrs. Adelaide ODIORNE, Elkhart, Ind., and Brock DAHL, Fairfield. Other survivors include five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one sister, Abbie J. PATTERSON, Chicago, Ill. One son and one brother preceded her in death.
