THOS. DAGLISH DIED SUNDAY

Thomas DAGLISH died Sunday evening about 6;30 o'clock at the Fairfield Hotel on the corner of Sixth and Grimes streets, after a few days illness of pneumonia. He had been employed at the Iowa Malleable Iron Works for the past two years and was well liked among his associates.

Little is known of Mr. DAGLISH's earlier life except that he was a single man and had a brother living in Tyler, Texas and one in Houston, Texas and he had sisters living in Detroit, Michigan, and Quincy, Ill. He was 48 years of age.

He took sick only a few days and the illness rapidly assumed a serious form of pneumonia. Relatives in Texas and elsewhere were communicated with but were unable to reach this city before his death.

Although no definite arrangements have been made for the funeral, it will probably be held tomorrow afternoon about 2;30 o'clock and if relatives do not arrive it will be in charge of the employees of the Malleable.

Thomas DAGLISH.

After an illness of a few days, Thomas DAGLISH died at Fairfield Hotel last Sunday evening at six-thirty o'clock, death being due to pneumonia. Mr. DAGLISH was an employe of the Malleable Iron Company and was highly esteemed by his fellow workmen and other associates. Relatives in Texas and other distant points were summoned, but were unable to reach the city before his death. Mr. DAGLISH, who was about 48 years of age, was unmarried and had no relatives here. Two brothers live in Texas, one sister in Detroit, Mich., and one in Quincy, Ill.

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the chapel at Frazey's undertaking parlors, conducted by Rev. C. L. Tennant, pastor of the First Methodist church of this city, and interment made at Evergreen cemetery.. Although it was impossible for any of the relatives of Mr. DAGLISH to be here, he was surrounded by friends and his death has brought sorrow to many who know him. The employes of the Malleable Iron company attended the funeral services in a body, and all that kindness and sympathy could do was done for their friend and fellow workman during his illness and death. It was a veritable exemplification of "I was a stranger and ye took me in."
