... Many friends in this city will be pained to learn of the death of Mrs. Frank L. DAGGETT at an early hour this morning. She has been critically ill for several days. Mrs. DAGGETT leaves a babe of three weeks.

Page 3, Column 4Death of Mrs. DAGGETT.
Helen May, wife of Frank L. DAGGETT, died in this city Wednesday morning, the 9th inst. Her death was a great shock to a wide circle of friends, and a sad blow to the husband and family of little children which is left motherless. Mrs. DAGGETT was a daughter of R. C. BALDERSON. She was born September 21st, 1865, ad grew to womanhood in this county. Her marriage took place August 14th, 1887. She leaves four children, the eldest thirteen, the youngest a babe of three weeks. Mrs. DAGGETT was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of this city, and was active in its good works. She was a bright and intelligent woman, a most affectionate mother, and all who knew her held her in the highest regard. Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved husband and family. The remains were interred in this city Friday, the funeral service being conducted by Rev. C. S. Cooper of Keosauqua.
