Mrs. Nora McKEE CUNNINGHAM Dies Monday in Indiana

Mrs. Nora McKEE CUNNINGHAM of Wolcottville, Ind. died Monday morning at the LaGrange county hospital in LaGrange, Ind. after an illness of several months. Mrs. CUNNINGHAM will be remembered here as Nora McKEE. She was employed a number of years with the Iowa State Telephone Co. of this city.

Mrs. CUNNINGHAM was born near Perlee, Iowa on Oct. 16, 1888. She spent her early years on the farm where she was born, but later moved with her parents to Fairfield where she attended the public schools. She united early in life with the First Presbyterian church and has maintained her membership here. She was united in marriage in October 1926 to T. P. CUNNINGHAM of Fort Wayne, Ind. She has since made her home in Fort Wayne and Wolcottville, Ind. She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. Fannie GREESON of Fairfield; two brothers, W. C. McKEE of Fairfield and J. E. McKEE of Memphis, Mo., and a number of nieces and nephews. She as preceded in death by her father and mother, three sisters and brothers.

Funeral services will beheld at the Hoskins funeral home at three o'clock, Thursday afternoon in charge of Dr. H. Sears Thompson of Ottumwa. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Note: Buried in Lot 3rd.014. She was first married on May 1, 1907, to Ernest L. HUDGELL; her marriage to Thomas Patrick CUNNINGHAM took place in Ottumwa, Wapello Co., IA, and was her second. Her birthdate varies a bit: in her obituary above, it's October, 1888, as it is in the 1900 census. On her death certificate, it's June 10, 1888 (age 49y 11m 20d). Her Social Security record gives a birthdate of October 16, 1889. It's not clear at this point which is the most accurate date.
