Mrs. E. W. Sage died at her home in Washington last Sat. evening. She was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Meeker and was born in Jefferson County in 1840, being 70 years old at time of death. In June 1854 married in Jefferson County to E. W. Sage who survives. They came to Washington County some 37 years ago, settling in Marion Township.....13 children, 6 sons and seven daughters were born to Mr. and Mrs. Sage; 9 survive.....
