Justin NORTH rites Monday

Justin F. NORTH, 83, retired Jefferson County farmer, died early this morning at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be at 1:30 a.m. Monday at the Jones Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery (note: in Iowa Township, Washington Co., IA).

Visitation will be Sunday afternoon at the funeral home in Washington.

J. F. NORTH rites today

Services were scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today for Justin F. NORTH, 83, retired Jefferson County farmer who died early Saturday morning at the Jefferson County Hospital.

He had been in failing health for three years and seriously ill more recently.

Services were held today at the Jones Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery at Riverside.

Justin F. NORTH was born March 24, 1897, in McClain County, Ill., the son of Henry and Monnie McCLELLAND NORTH.

He was married April 21, 1919, to Bessie P. BIRKA at Washington. She died in 1965. His marriage to Laura HOUSE took place in 1971 at Bonaaparte (sic). She survives. NORTH was a member of the Christian Church.

In addition to his widow, NORTH is survived by a son, Buddie NORTH, Bonaparte; a daughter, Agatha LITLE who lives in Florida; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marvel BRUEGGE, Stockport.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and two sisters.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 18TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1980, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JUSTIN F. NORTH, DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 10TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1976, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT LAURA NORTH WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
