CROWNER Funeral To Be Saturday

Mrs. John CROWNER, former long-time resident of the Glasgow and Fairfield communities, died at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday at West Burlington (note: in Des Moines Co., IA). The family home is at 602 Mount Pleasant in West Burlington.

Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. James W. Dendler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ethel E. CROWNER, 74, was born May 6, 1894 in Lee County. She was the daughter of Charles and Lydia MACKEY ANDERS.

She was married to John CROWNER on Dec. 25, 1912. After spending most of her life in the Fairfield and Glasgow communities, she had lived the past few years in West Burlington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by the following children: Charles CROWNER, West Burlington; John CROWNER, Burlington; Clifford CROWNER, West Burlington; Mrs. Ruth YOUNG, Taylor Ridge, Ill.; Everett CROWNER, West Burlington; Mrs. Evelyn BEATTY, Burlington.

Other survivors include 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
