Moses Edmond "Ed" CRILE, 89, retired farmer, died early today at the Nelson Nursing Home after a serious illness of three weeks.
Servicse will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Wilson Hyde. Burial wil be in Evergreen Cemetery.
CRILE was born Nov. 26, 1897 in Jefferson County near Brighton, the son of Jacob and Mary FITCHNER CRILE. He was reared and educated in the Brighton community. He was married to Bertha Ann LOUTH Jan. 1, 1901. His wife preceded him in death Oct. 21, 1960.
CRILE had been a resident of Fairfield since 1933. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a former member of the Golden Wedding club.
Surviving are two children: Mrs Boyd LANTZ, Fairfield; and Waldo H. CRILE, Fort Madison. Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County
In The Matter Of The Estate Of M. E. CRILE, Deceased.
To All Persons Interested In The Estate of M. E. CRILE, Deceased:
You are hereby notified that on the 23rd day of April, 1969, the last will and testament of M. E. CRILE, deceased bearing date of the 3rd day of March, 1961, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Waldo H. CRILE was appointed executor of said estate.
Notice is further given that any action to set aasie said will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.
Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
