THOMAS CRAWFORD DIED EARLY TODAY
Was Ill For Past Two Months; Funeral Monday at 2:30 From The Home

Thomas CRAWFORD passed away this morning about 5 oclock at his home, 302 West Madison after being ill for the past two months. The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the home in charge of Dr. H. Sears Thomson of the Presbyterian church. Burial will take place in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. CRAWFORD was born in Jefferson county April 18, 1864 and he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel CRAWFORD. He was united in marriage November 7, 1894 to Mrs. Margaret ALLENDER and she with a stepson Edgar ALLENDER of Moline, Ill, are left to mourn his passing. Two brothers and three sisters, also survice (sic): Patrick CRAWFORD of Larne, Ireland, John CRAWFORD of Stockport, Mrs. Henry DOWNS, Mrs. Robert McWHIRTER and Mrs. M. D. RODABAUGH of Fairfield. For the past five years Mr. CRAWFORD has been with the Dexter Washington Machine company, until failing health compelled him to give up this place.

State of Iowa, Jefferson County, ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Thomas CRAWFORD, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District court of Jefferson county, and that January 29, A. D. 1923 at 2 o'clock p.m., it being the second day of the January Term of said court, has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the seal of said Court this 26th day of December, 1923.
