CRAFTON TWIN IS BURIED TODAY; WAS BORN YESTERDAY

The last rites for Letty Jean CRAFTON, twin daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. James CRAFTON, of the West End Addition, yesterday, at the home of Mrs. CRAFTON's parents Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. (sic) Fred VOGHT (sic - VOGT), were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Butler Funeral Home. Dr. Gilbert Voorhies conducted the services.

Four of the girl friends of the mother, Edith Baker, Esther Delp, Viola Harper and Velma Cox acted as pall bearers. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.

The little one is survived by the twin sister Betty Jane, who was born Jan. 16, twenty-four hours before her twin ,who (sic) lived only a few minutes after birth. The parents and many relatives are left to mourn her passing.

The daughter surviving weighs only three pounds, while the other child weighed 6 pounds. The mother of the babies was 16 years old last september 2nd.
