Page EIGHT, Column 2Burial In Fairfield For Mrs. Alta CRAFF
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Alta CRAFF, who passed away in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude WESTFALL of Des Moines, Sunday March 7, following an illness of several weeks (note: in Polk Co., IA). She was the widow of the late George L. CRAFF, formerly of Lockridge.
Funeral services will be held at the Dunn Funeral home in Des Moines Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. The body will then be brought to Fairfield for burial in Evergreen cemetery. Graveside services will be held here at 3 p.m.
Mrs. CRAFF was born in Birmingham, the daughter of James and Rebecca GOODSON and was reared in that vicinity. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, W. C. and Ed GOODSON.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. WESTFALL and three sisters, Mrs. Cora STENTZ and Mrs. Josephine SIMONS of Kansas City and Mrs. Madge EGAN of Des Moines.
