Mrs. Sam A. COREY Dies Today At Her Home, Des Moines

Mrs. Sam A. COREY, long a resident of Des Moines, died there this noon at her home, 1079 Twenty-Third street. While in feeble health for some time she had been ill only one day with a heart attack.

Mrs. COREY's husband, who died about two years ago, was an older brother of Mrs. J. S. GAUMER of this city. She, with Miss Bessie GAUMER and Mrs. Jessie COREY left this noon for Des Moines.

Mrs. S. A. COREY is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. C. JOHNSON and two grandchildren. She made her home with the JOHNSONs. Two sisters, Mrs. Margaret ABEGG and Miss Ann SLUTTS of Ottumwa also survive.

Funeral arrangements have not as yet been made but burial will be in Evergreen cemetery in Fairfield, beside her late husband.

Services Friday For Mrs. S. A. COREY

Final services for Mrs. S. A. COREY of Des Moines, sister-in-law of Mrs. J. S. GAUMER and Mrs. O. R. COREY, were held at the grave in Evergreen cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Friday.

The service here was in charge of her pastor, Dr. C. C. Bacon of the First Methodist church of Des Moines, assisted by Dr. M. A. Gable. Fairfield relatives and friends acted as pallbearers. A previous service was held in Des Moines. Burial was in the COREY family lot, beside Mr. COREY, who died about two years ago.
