Well-known Fairfield Women (sic) Summoned At Local HospitalElizabeth I. COPELAND, well known Fairfield resident, wife of Jay COPELAND, died at the Jefferson county hospital at 1:30 a.m. today.
She is survived by one son Carl of Burlington, and a granddaughter Marilee. She had been in failing health for the past two years.
Mrs. COPELAND had lived in Fairfield and Jefferson county her entire life. She was a charter member of the Pythian Sisters, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home, in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
