The Oskaloosa Herald notes the death of W. I. Shamp at Lake Geneva, Wis., the 3d ult. Mr. Shamp was a resident of this city from 1846 to 1852, and was married here Apr 4 1848 to Miss Mary J. Shelton. He removed hence to Oskaloosa. He died from paralysis.
