Packwood---The funeral of Mrs. Swan Nelson, who died Saturday, was held at the home Tuesday. Rev J S Decker, pastor of the M E church, assisted by O G Orcutt of Agency officiated at the last sad rites.
Miss Ada Johnson was born at Wayland, in 1876, moved to Packwood ten years ago and seven years ago was married to Swan Nelson, who with a little son 5 years old and twin babies two weeks old survive her, also three brothers and a host of friends. Mrs. Nelson was a good friend and kind neighbor and will be sadly missed in church and social circles where she was a shining light. She was laid to rest in Packwood Cemetery beside her baby girls.
